Fernando was 39 and from Doral, FL, and Carolina was 22 and from Medellin, Colombia, when they met. They first caught eyes while ironically on dates with other people in Colombia.

The two got engaged before Fernando returned to the United States, and then Carolina moved to Florida to live with him.

Even though Carolina reportedly did not get along with her love interest's mother, she and Fernando got married.

The couple are still together despite previous cheating accusations, which Fernando ultimately denied.
