"Never say never," Hayley, 31, told People.

Hayley last appeared in the Dancing with the Stars ballroom in 2024 -- one year after her emergency craniectomy -- to perform alongside her husband and Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough.

Hayley previously served as a Dancing with the Stars Troupe member from 2015 to 2019.

Hayley -- who gave birth to a baby girl, Everley, on December 29 -- shared of a possible Dancing with the Stars return, "Lots of my friends have gone back after having kids, but it's a little difficult with [Derek] being a judge."

She added that Derek scoring her performances "might be a little bit of a conflict of interest."

But, Derek, 40, said he'd be "overly hard" with scoring if she competed on Dancing with the Stars as a pro.

"I'd be like, 'Two,'" Derek quipped when referencing the series' 1-10 scoring system. "Then I'd be like, 'Babe, I love you. I'm so sorry.'"

Prior to judging the reality dancing competition, Derek had competed as a pro partner and won the DWTS mirrorball trophy six times.

In the meantime, Derek and Hayley will be hitting the road for their Encore dance tour in June 2026. Hayley revealed that they'll be bringing Everley with them.

"Hayley really wants to go out and dance and perform," Derek said. "Knowing her, she will."

Hayley admitted it's "going to be interesting" to have a baby with them on the road.

"When we would be in meet and greets on tour, a lot of people would ask me, 'Where do you see yourself in your career in five years?'" Hayley recalled.

"I kept being like, 'You know? I don't know.' I had this epiphany one time being like, 'The reason why I don't see anything in my career in the future right now is because I want to be a mom.'"

Hayley reiterated how becoming a mother was "the only thing" she could picture in her future at the time.

"And so now that it's here, I'm like, 'I just want to relish in it, and I'll figure out the work eventually,'" Hayley explained.

"But I do know that I want to dance. I want to keep moving. We will see if my body is ready to do the whole show. Maybe I'm just in a number. Who knows?"

Two years ago, Hayley had 40 percent of her skull removed to relieve the pressure caused by a brain bleed from a burst blood vessel. She later underwent a second surgery to have a skull implant.

"One of the first things Hayley said... after her surgery -- missing half of her skull, face swollen -- was not, 'Am I going to be able to dance again?' It was, 'Am I able to have children in the future?'" Derek recalled.

"The doctor was like, 'Yes, of course.' And here we are."

Hayley shared with the magazine, "We've had so many moments in life that are not as great. So she's our rainbow after the storm."

Hayley and Derek met in 2014 and got engaged in June 2022. The pair tied the knot in California in August 2023.

In addition to Hayley's brain surgeries, she and Derek also got into a serious car accident together in 2022. Hayley later experienced a miscarriage in 2024.

"She's been through so much," Derek said of his wife. "To see her go from where she was to now, giving birth, is amazing. My daughter has a great example here."

Haley found fame when she competed on So You Think You Can Dance's tenth season as a contemporary dancer.
