Bravo has revealed the identities of the 12 contestants who will compete on Platinum Hit and announced the new singer-songwriter reality competition will premiere on Monday, May 30 at 10PM ET/PT.

Platinum Hit -- which Bravo originally began developing in 2010 as Hitmakers and subsequently renamed Going Platinum -- will feature 12 musicians who will live together and compete in a series of songwriting challenges that will require them to write lyrics and perform songs in genres ranging from dance tracks to love ballads.

The winner will receive a $100,000 cash prize, a publishing deal with Sony and a recording contract with RCA/Jive. 

Similar to Top Chef and the network's other reality competitions, Platinum Hit was filmed in advance and the contestants were eliminated based on the decisions of the show's judging panel, not home viewer voting.

Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi will serve as the head judge of Platinum Hit, while recording artist and former Nashville Star host and judge Jewel will also serve on the judging panel as well as host the series.

Jewel and DioGuardi will be joined by guest judges Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Donna Summer, Jermaine Dupri, Taio Cruz, and Ryan Tedder throughout the season.

Platinum Hit is being produced by True Entertainment and executive produced by Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock, Evan Bogart, Tim Bogart, Faye Stapleton and Marvin V. Acuna.

The 12 contestants who will be competing on Platinum Hit are as follows:

- Amber Ojeda, a 27-year-old from San Diego, CA who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Blessing Offor, a 22-year-old from Hamden, CT who currently resides in Queens, NY

- Brian Judah, a 33-year-old from Studio City, CA who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Jackie Tohn, a 30-year-old from Oceanside, NY who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Jes Hudak, a 29-year-old from Saratoga Springs, NY who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Johnny Marnell, a 29-year-old from Kingston, NY who currently resides in New York, NY

- Karen Waldrup, a 24-year-old from Mandeville, LA who currently resides in Nashville, TN

- Melissa Rapp, a 32-year-old from Honolulu, HI who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Nevin James, a 22-year-old from Pittsburgh, PA who currently resides in Malibu, CA

- Nick Nittoli, a 23-year-old from Garfield, NJ who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA

- Scotty Granger, a 23-year-old from New Orleans, LA who currently resides in Los Angles, CA

- Sonyae Elise, a 23-year-old from Newark/Montclair, NJ who currently resides in Los Angles, CA
