The CW is developing Extreme Musical Chairs, a new reality competition series that would take the game to a whole new level, according toVariety.
Extreme Musical Chairs would reportedly take place indoors and turn the game into a "physically demanding" obstacle course that would feature multiple rounds of gameplay with eliminations along the way.
The CW is attempting to stray from its normal type of programming, which tends to appeal to young female adults and focus on fashion and celebrities, Variety reported.
Extreme Musical Chairs is reportedly being produced by Gurin Company -- which is behind CMT's The Singing Bee and ABC's Shark Tank -- and 405 Productions.
