Brusque-spoken talk-show host Tom Snyder has been diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia, the New York Post reported Monday.

Snyder, 68, first broke the news on his Web site in his own outspoken style.
"I have been diagnosed with something called chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Jesus H. Christ!" he wrote. "They say ... people can live with it for 30 years."
However, he said he wouldn't hold doctors to the three decades.
"I will be 69 next month (so) I ain't looking for 30 years -- but 15 more would be nice!"
The former WNBC and WABC news anchor and host of NBC's "Tomorrow" said he got the diagnosis after bouts of "uncontrollable sweating" and "general lack of stamina."
Snyder, who successfully battled heart disease four years ago, said his younger brother John has been diagnosed with the same form of leukemia.
