Actor/rapper Common and tennis champion Serena Williams have ended their two-year relationship, blaming busy and conflicting schedules, sources say.
The busy careers of each were behind the breakup, a source said.
"They are two workaholics who couldn't see each other enough," the source explained. "Things happen."
Just two weeks ago, Common gushed about Williams during a television interview, the New York Daily News reported.
"Serena's a great woman. She's a beautiful woman and an incredible person," the Chicago rapper said.
Asked in the interview about possible wedding plans, Common said, "I definitely want to get married. I want to get married and have kids."
