Ricky Gervais and Will Arnett have signed on to appear in the Season 7 finale of the U.S. sitcom, "The Office," EW.com reported Tuesday.
EW.com said details regarding the finale are sketchy as the episode is still being written.
Gervais is the creator and star of the original British version of "The Office."
Arnett is best known for his work on the TV series "Arrested Development."
Their appearances on the American version of "The Office" come after star Steve Carell, who plays character Michael Scott, leaves the show.
Carell has already taped his last episode, which is to air next month.
NBC recently renewed the series for an eighth season.
