Motley Crue reunited five years after going their separate ways, and announced Monday they will roll out the "Red, White & Crue Tour...Better Live Than Dead" tour on February 17, 2005, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., MTV.com reported.
"This is like the ultimate roller-coaster ride in life," bassist Nikki Sixx told a news conference. "It was kind of nice to get off that for a little while, but I'm Jonesin' for the thrill now."
From Fort Lauderdale, Motley Crue heads to South America and Europe. The band returns to the United States in August and September for a string of shows and finishes the year touring Australia, New Zealand and Japan, MTV.com reported.
A Motley Crue retrospective CD hits stores Feb. 1, and filming on a movie about dark times in the bands' history is to start filming next year.
