The Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa said a group of 300 children wrapped up the facility's Festival of Chocolate Monday by attempting to set records for the world's largest cup of hot chocolate and the world's largest practical science lesson, the Tampa Bay (Fla.) Times reported Wednesday.
"They are learning about potential energy, kinetic energy and they are creating candy cannons," said Vivian McIlrath, community education coordinator for MOSI.
She said the kids used the cannons to fill the hot chocolate with marshmallows.
The museum said the event was photographed and videotaped for submission to Guinness World Records.
