Kate Winslet is dating U.K. model Louis Dowler, UsMagazine.com said Monday.

The twice-divorced British actress won an Oscar for her work in "The Reader." She is the mother of two young children and was previously married to Sam Mendes and James Jim Threapleton. Dowler has appeared in ads for Burberry.

UsMagazine.com said Winslet and Dowler met through mutual friends last month and were seen holding hands at London hot spots Groucho Club and Mahiki during the weekend.

"Kate certainly seems smitten. Who wouldn't be?" the U.K.'s The Mirror newspaper quotes a source as saying. "They've really got something special."
