West, 50 Cent and the Stones were the only acts to sell more than 100,000 copies, as total U.S. album sales dropped 9 percent from the previous week, Billboard reported Wednesday.
West's sophomore album held onto No. 1 for the second consecutive week with a two-week sales figure of 1.5 million units, while 50 Cent's record rebounded from No. 35 to No. 2 due to 154,000 sold -- a 520-percent increase. To date, 50 Cent has sold nearly 4.5 million copies domestically.
The Stones sold 129,000 in the first week of "A Bigger Bang," to give the British rock veterans the No. 3 slot.
The Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business" was No. 4 on The Billboard 200, followed by Mariah Carey's "The Emancipation of Mimi" at No. 5.
Tony Yayo's "Thoughts of a Predictable Felon" was No. 6 followed by the 19th volume in the "NOW! That's What I Call Music," at No. 7. No. 8 was Green Day's "American Idiot"; No. 9 was the Hilary Duff compilation "Most Wanted"; and the chart's Top 10 was rounded out by Young Jeezy's "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101."
