The break-up of her marriage to Brad Pitt may be big news for tabloids, but Jennifer Aniston insists she doesn't read what is written about it.

"I don't look at that stuff," the former "Friends" star told reporters in New York Sunday. "No, I just don't pay attention to it."

Asked how she has managed to stay grounded despite her recent high-profile divorce and Pitt's equally publicized relationship with actress Angelina Jolie, Aniston replied, "I'm not a role model, whatever, or the poster child for how to do anything.

"You know, it was my first time at this particular picnic. So, I just have a great family, great friends. This is nothing out of the ordinary. People walk through this stuff all the time," she said. "It's great having a creative outlet and having work to do, too. And when I wasn't working, that was fine, too."

Aniston can be seen next month in the psychological thriller, "Derailed," opposite "Sin City" star Clive Owen.
