The cast of HBO's "The Sopranos" have returned to Silvercup Studios in New York City to shoot their sixth and likely final season.

The ending of the series is secret and the shows are not expected to air until next year, but there is talk the family saga may end with a feature film, the New York Post reported.
Star James Gandolfini, who plays New Jersey crime boss Tony Soprano, was described as appearing "great" on his return to the series. But the portly Joe Gannascoli, who plays Vito Spatafore, boasted that while the series was off the air he lost 40 pounds.
