A New York judge Tuesday rejected federal prosecutors' request that Chris Colombo be placed on 24-hour home confinement, the New York Daily News reported Wednesday.

Prosecutors had sought to tighten the reins on the son of Joe Colombo after learning he was filming the HBO show "House Arrest" during the times he had permission to leave the house for business and personal errands.

Colombo's lawyer Jeremy Schneider told the Daily News his client is "pleased and will continue to do the show."

The first episode of "House Arrest" is scheduled to air Thanksgiving night.
