FOX has announced that following its successful series premiere Monday night, encore episodes of the network's new hit series My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé will air Thursdays at 9 ET/PT, beginning this Thursday, January 22.
Premiering last night, January 19, after the season premiere of FOX's smash-hit series, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancéwon both of its half-hours among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, Adults 25-54, and all key male and female demographics, helping the network to a nightly win in these measures.
My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé debut outperformed the premiere of NBC's The Apprentice by +9% in Adults 18-49 and +16% in Total Viewers. Even more impressively, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé beat the premiere of the original Joe Millionaire by +15% in Total Viewers and was neck and neck with the Joe Millionaire premiere in A18-49 (9.9/22 versus 10.1/22).
In My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé, Randi Coy attempts to pull off television's largest con on her unsuspecting family, by introducing them to her unknown "fiancé" in the hope of making it through an outlandish wedding ceremony to win a million-dollar prize. Unbeknownst to Randi is that her bumbling "fiancé" is not another reality contestant like herself, but is actually actor Steven Bailey, whose job is to cause as much mischief as possible for the Coy family.
