Scottish actor Dougray Scott has been signed to the lead role in NBC's new dramedy, "Heist," it was announced Monday.

Doug Liman is directing the ensemble cast playing a group of thieves planning to conduct three jewelry store robberies in a single day.
Scott will portray the criminal mastermind and will be joined in the cast by Seymour Cassel, David Walton, Reno Wilson and Marika Dominczyk, The Hollywood Reporter said.
NBC has ordered the pilot plus five more scripts of "Heist."
