Hollywood screenwriter Diablo Cody announced via Twitter she has given birth to her first child, a son she named Marcello Daniel Maurio.
He is the first child for Cody and her husband, Daniel Maurio, who works on the TV series "Chelsea Lately." The couple married last summer.
Cody penned the big-screen comedy "Juno" and created Showtime's "United States of Tara."
