Dean Unglert is on a high right now after filming The Bachelor Winter Games, which premieres February 13 on ABC.

Dean, who appeared on Season 13 of The Bachelorette as well as Bachelor in Paradise's fourth season, admitted to Us Weekly he's doing very well since taping the Winter Games spinoff late last year in Vermont.

The likely reason? Dean is reportedly dating his The Bachelor Winter Games co-star Lesley Murphy.

"I'm incredibly happy," Dean told Us, adding that he's in it for the long haul when it comes to this new relationship. "I hope so! Fingers crossed."

An eyewitness told the magazine in late January that Dean was spotted holding hands with Lesley and looking "very much like a couple" at a Chase Sapphire on Main party as part of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT.

On his The Bachelor Winter Games participation, Dean shared, "It was fun. It was a great opportunity to meet new people. I met some great people and made some new friends. We're not going to talk about anyone specific! Some Australians and Canadians!"

The Us reporter asked Dean, "Some girl named Lesley?"

And Dean replied with a big, awkward laugh, "There was a girl named Lesley there, yeah!"

"She was a great skier," Dean noted, after cracking up and blushing. "I think she won one of the competitions. I wasn't paying that close of attention, but I'm pretty sure she did pretty well."

Dean didn't want to reveal any details about his alleged romance with Lesley, but he confirmed he's in a good place right now -- "absolutely" the best place mentally and emotionally, in fact, since appearing on Paradise last summer.

He also discussed what he looks for in his ideal partner.

"I like someone that is adventurous. Someone that has a lot of personality. Someone that can help make decisions for me because I'm incredibly indecisive," Dean said. "I need someone like that in my life. I'd say those are the three most important things."

Dean initially competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on The Bachelorette in 2017 before getting himself involved in a controversial love triangle with two women on Bachelor in Paradise 4, Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard.

Because of his behavior in Mexico in which he bounced back and forth between Kristina and Danielle -- who were both head over heels for him at the time -- Dean was criticized for being an insensitive and selfish playboy.

However, he used that reputation to his benefit and began hosting a podcast in September 2017 called Help! I Suck at Dating. Dean also briefly attempted to rekindle things with Kristina in the fall of last year, but their relationship apparently went nowhere.

"I had a bad experience on Bachelor in Paradise, but I learned a lot over that experience so it was nice to be able to go on with a new perspective and really be able to focus on how to improve and not be as much of a sh-thead as I was the first time around," Dean said of his Winter Games experience.

"It wasn't even about redemption. It was just a matter of applying the lessons that I've learned into successful dating."

Lesley got her start on reality TV when she fought to win Sean Lowe's heart on The Bachelor's seventeenth season in 2013. She finished in fifth place and was eliminated just before hometown dates.

Although she didn't appear on a subsequent season of the franchise, Lesley remained in the spotlight by documenting her travels on social media and sharing personal stories on her blog.
