'Dancing with the Stars' finalist Stacy Keibler joining 'What About Brian'

By Steve Rogers, 12/16/2006

Nearly a year after her breakout performance on the second season of ABC's ballroom dancing reality series, former Dancing with the Stars 2 finalist Stacy Keibler will reportedly be returning to the network.

Keibler, who was working as a World Wrestling Entertainment professional wrestling "diva" prior to her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, is joining the cast of ABC's What About Brian drama in a recurring role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Keibler will play a new neighbor of Brian O'Hara, the character played by What About Brian star Barry Watson. Jessica Szohr, another actress who become a series regular, will play another new neighbor.

Although she had been deemed the pre-season favorite to win the competition and averaged the highest judges scores throughout the season, Keibler finished third on Dancing with the Stars 2. After the February 2006 finale, Keibler signed a talent deal Touchstone Television, the ABC sister company that co-produces What About Brian.

What About Brian airs Mondays at 10PM ET/PT. Despite averaging less than 7 million viewers an episode, ABC gave the JJ Abrams-produced sophomore drama a full-season pickup in November.
