Bachelor in Paradise announced on its official Twitter account Chris, a 30-year-old sales trainer from Orlando, FL, and Connor, a 25-year-old fitness coach from St. Petersburg, FL, will appear on Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise on ABC.

"We've got two tickets to Paradise...Chris and Connor will continue their journey for love on #BachelorInParadise!" the show tweeted late Monday night.

Most of the Paradise cast had already been announced late last month, around the time ABC disclosed the new season will premiere with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, August 7 at 8PM ET/PT.

Beginning the following week, Bachelor in Paradise will air on Monday and Tuesday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT.

Chris and Connor both fought hard to win Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette's currently-airing 14th season.

Chris and Connor were both eliminated during Monday night's episode, when Becca enjoyed a week of dates in Richmond, VA.

Chris, who came across as a cocky villain this season after sparring with Chase Vergason and Lincoln Adim, was sent packing after he visited Becca's hotel room to chat about their relationship and past issues.

When Becca decided to let Chris go because she was over the drama, he refused to allow her to walk him out.

"I think Chris is just a very angry person," Becca noted in the latest episode after an awkward goodbye, adding that Chris is not the type of guy she wants to raise children with or go through life with.

The majority of Bachelor Nation doesn't seem pleased about Chris' Bachelor in Paradise participation based on their comments on social media.

"Seriously consider paying for Chris to get therapy, not a trip to a tropical island," one Twitter user wrote.

"Please don't reward angry, aggressive men like Chris with more tv opportunities," said another follower of the show.

Fans, however, seem excited about Connor, whom Becca found handsome and kind. Although he got off to a rough start with Becca after getting into a heated argument with Lincoln over a picture frame, he redeemed himself and lasted several more weeks.

"Connor is such a beautiful man," tweeted a fan.

"Connor deserves true love," a Twitter user wrote. "Chris needs counseling on how to treat a woman and make her your priority."

The new season will feature "shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests, and some of the most unlikely relationships" in Bachelor history, according to ABC.
