CBS said Friday "Same Name" will debut this summer. Each one-hour episode will feature a well-known personality who switches places for a week with someone bearing the same name. The star and their counterpart will live in each other's houses, meet and interact with family, friends and co-workers and experience how the other lives, CBS said.

In the first installment, Hasselhoff will go to a small Texas town to meet and temporarily swap lives with an electrical technician/landscaper.

"They may have the same names but their lives couldn't be more different," Jennifer Bresnan, CBS' executive vice president of alternative programming, said in a statement about the celebrities who will participate in the show.

"Walking in each other's shoes and experiencing their home life, work and other activities reveals moments of humor, laughter and unexpected emotion."
