Spears appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday to promote the CD, which is to debut March 29.
"I love the album, I actually listened to it on the way over here. It's definitely something that you want to work out to. It's definitely upbeat," the Los Angeles Times quoted Spears as saying.
"Will.i.am's on the record and I'm a dancer so it's definitely something I can work with. It's just really fun, it's a really really fun record."
Asked if she will be returning to the stage soon, the Times said Spears replied, "I'm supposed to be going on tour."
Her manager, Larry Rudolph, said the shows will begin in "early summer."
Spears last toured in 2009 to support her sixth studio CD, "Circus."
