Two Big Brotherhouseguests will face consequences when they return home for controversial slurs they've made inside Big Brotherhouse.
GinaMarie Zimmerman has been fired from her job of five years as a pageant coordinator for East Coast USA Pageant, Inc. after using the "n word," while Aaryn Gries has been dropped from her modeling agency for making racial and homophonic comments in theBig Brother house, TMZ reported Wednesday.
"We have never known this side of GinaMarie or have ever witnessed such acts of racism in the past," East Coast USA Pageant told TMZ.
The company was reportedly shocked to learn Zimmerman could "display such acts of hate and racism" on Big Brother's uncensored live Internet feeds. According to TMZ, she had referred to welfare as "n--ger insurance."
"We are actually thankful that this show let us see GinaMarie for who she truly is. We would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants," East Coast USA Pageant explained, adding that they had unfortunately encouraged their young girls to watch Zimmerman on the show and vote for her.
"In a business where we are surrounded by beauty every day we are saddened to see something so ugly come from someone we put on a very high pedestal."
As for Gries, Zephyr Talent in Austin, TX let her go because the contestant has reportedly dropped words such as "queer" and suggested an Asian-American houseguest should "shut up and go and make some rice" among other insults.
"Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone," the modeling agency told the website.
"We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent."
