Cirque de Soleil President Daniel Lamarre said the show will open a custom-built $100 million theater at the Mirage later this year with George Martin, the Beatles' music producer, as music director.
Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono agreed to let the British supergroup's music be used for the first time in a theatrical production, Martin said.
He credited a relationship between the late George Harrison and Cirque founder Guy Laliberte for the deal.
Ono, widow of John Lennon, told UPI, "I think it's a great combination -- the Beatles' agile mind and the Cirque's agile body."
