Andrew Spencer has admitted Jeremy Simon "looks really bad" and most of the Bachelor in Paradise cast didn't know the extent of his feelings for Susie Evans.

Andrew admitted to the podcast's host Nick Viall that he was surprised to hear Jeremy had called Susie but, at the time, he didn't think it was a big deal.
"I was like, 'I get it, you're mad. Out of spite, you want to -- it happens. People have moments of lapse.' I didn't see his conversation with Susie, so we don't know how aggressive [it was] or how it was portrayed [for viewers]," Andrew explained.
"In my head, I was just like, 'I get it. This dude, he had a moment of lapse. He was a little bit mad that I went on a date with a girl he picked over another girl.' That makes sense."
Andrew claimed he "never heard" Jeremy "say anything about Susie" after their brief chat about the phone call.
"We didn't know all that was said. He said, 'We had a phone call.' To me, that's not a huge deal. Okay he called Susie, but I don't know how the phone call went. And seeing it back, I'm like, 'Ohh, you needed to tell her right then and there just how that phone call went,'" Andrew admitted.
Andrew reiterated how "everyone knew to an extent" about Jeremy's phone call with Susie but they "didn't know how bad" it was.
"We don't get to see his [confessionals]. We're seeing the same things you guys are for the first time right now," Andrew explained.
He added, "We don't know the extent of the conversations that he's having. When I see it, it looks bad! It looks really bad! It looks really bad. I didn't know he was saying that to Brian... He was the only person who heard it in that type of malicious way."
Andrew and his pals apparently had no idea just "how deep it was" between Jeremy and Susie.
Andrew apparently thought Jeremy had soft-balled his invitation to Susie to return to Paradise when, in reality, Jeremy was very passionate about wanting to reunite.

"I did not think it was, 'Hey, please tell me you're coming back. I'd love for you to come back and be here and I'd propose to you.' I didn't know any of that!"

Andrew also said he had kept quiet and minded his own business about Jeremy and Susie because he thought to himself, "[Jeremy] has to know they're going to put that on [TV]. The eye in the sky doesn't lie! It's all being filmed."
Andrew elaborated, "So everyone was like, 'Why didn't you tell Bailey?' Well, what do you mean? It's all being filmed, and why am I going to focus on someone else's relationship when I'm trying to build my own [with Alexe Godin]? If it's in the outside world, I understand."
But after watching the footage back, Andrew called the situation "heartbreaking" for Bailey.
"Not knowing how harsh Jeremy was with his words and seeing Bailey react the way she did, it's heartbreaking. I hate to see somebody go through that," Andrew said.
"I wish I knew more and was told more. And it's also like the boy in sheep's clothing. With Brian, you just think he's lying! He just doesn't really come off as a good guy."

And at that time, Andrew said Jeremy and Bailey were going very strong in Paradise.
"In our eyes, why would we mess that up? I don't know what he's told her and if they've hashed it out or whatever the case may be. It just has nothing to do with me. I don't want to be a part of it," Andrew explained.
He elaborated, "Everyone was closer with Jeremy and we were just like, 'Man, you need to tell her. That's on you. You are a grown man. You are 30. There should be no sneak-arounds going on right now.' It was bad."
But Andrew said Brian inserted himself into the situation "to try to get Jeremy and Bailey eliminated."
"So I don't think it was in good faith. He's known this for so long," Andrew noted.

Andrew insisted Brian and Bailey weren't even friends on the beach. He also criticized Brian's timing, saying Brian had waited until the competition heated up to say anything.
But Andrew conceded that Bailey deserved to know the truth and have somebody tell her.
On Bachelor in Paradise's Season 10 episode that aired last week, Brian let Bailey know that Jeremy had said he regretted not giving Susie his rose.
Not only did Brian tell Bailey that Jeremy had called Susie on the phone and begged for her to return to Paradise, but he also dropped the bombshell that Jeremy had said he'd propose to Susie on the spot if she ever came back.
Given Bailey and Jeremy were a strong couple in Paradise at this point, Bailey was naturally brought to tears and threatened to quit the show when $500,000 was still on the line.
Brian had his talk with Bailey right before the Rose Ceremony in which the cast could vote to eliminate one bachelor and his partner. Brian then lied to the guys about what he had told Bailey, and Andrew called him "sleazy" for that.

When Bailey confronted Jeremy about Brian's claims on the show, Jeremy promised Bailey that he really cared for her and only had eyes for her. Jeremy also denied ever saying that he'd propose marriage to Susie if she came back to the show.
Bailey ended up forgiving Jeremy and the pair decided to move forward in Paradise together.
