Bachelor in Paradise star Brian Autz has denied throwing Jeremy Simon under the bus to Bailey Taylor Brown as a strategic move to get Jeremy eliminated from the show.

"Because I already knew that what I was doing was actually going to completely hurt me in the game. So that can just be shut down."

Brian informed Bailey about how Jeremy had been missing -- and essentially pining for -- Susie Evans right before a Rose Ceremony in which the cast could vote out one man, ultimately eliminating one couple from Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season.
Even though $500,000 was on the line and Brian had an opportunity to potentially destroy Jeremy and Bailey's relationship and knock them out of the running, Brian insisted "there was no benefit" to him ratting Jeremy out.
"Because I was going to ensure that Bailey did not go home," Brian noted.
Brian told Nick Viall that he truly didn't want to be the one to tell Bailey such heartbreaking news about her man.
"I wanted the information to be relayed to Bailey, but I didn't want it to be expressed from me. You even saw the difficulty I had trying to get it out to her," Brian recalled.
"That was so difficult for me to even tell her, but she was like, 'You need to tell me. You need to tell me.'"
Brian acknowledged how Jeremy or one of Bailey's girlfriends should've stepped up to the plate and told Bailey about Jeremy's secret conversations.
Once everyone figured out Brian had outed Jeremy, the guys turned against Brian and accused him betraying Jeremy.
A handful of guys -- who accused Brian of having suspicious timing -- even voted for him to be sent home in support of Jeremy, but Golden couple Faith Martin and Kim Buike ended up getting the boot.

Bailey, on the other hand, seemed thankful and grateful Brian had told her the truth.
"[Parisa Shifteh] was the one who told everybody it came from me," Brian recalled with a laugh, adding how the couple had decided together that he should just come clean and try to save face.
"We got all this backlash about 'bro code' from the guys, and the girls were projecting out of guilt because they hadn't told her. We were literally three-quarters of the way through the entire season at this point."
Bailey, for her part, recently said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast how she thought Brian's motivation for telling her about Jeremy was "coming from a genuine place."
On Bachelor in Paradise's latest Season 10 episode, Brian let Bailey know that Jeremy had said he regretted not giving Susie his rose.
Not only did Brian tell Bailey that Jeremy had called Susie on the phone and begged for her to return to Paradise, but he also dropped the bombshell that Jeremy had said he'd propose to Susie on the spot if she ever came back.
Bailey sobbed and seemed devastated, and she nearly quit the Bachelor in Paradise season.

Bailey ended up forgiving Jeremy and the pair decided to move forward in Paradise together.
