90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? features married couples trying to make their relationships work in America following the K-1 visa process, except for Liz and Ed, who began the season as engaged Americans.

The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? cast will "continue to navigate the highs and lows in their relationships including everything from preparing for first impressions with the in-laws, to managing significant cultural differences, to working through turbulent family dynamics and more," according to TLC.

Below is what happened on Episode 10 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s eighth season.

LOREN and ALEXEI

Alexei was shown taking Loren for a little walk in their hotel after her drastic mommy makeover. One day after Loren's surgery, she had to visit the doctor for a check-up.

Loren said she had a rough night trying to sleep sitting up and she was in quite a bit of pain.

"Alexei has been unbelievable. He has not only been taking care of me, but he is monitoring everything. He monitors what I eat, when I take certain medicines -- he's unbelievable," Loren shared in a confessional.

When the surgeon's assistant removed Loren's head bandage, Alexei could immediately see that Loren's minor double chin was gone. It was hard to see the results right away because Loren was swollen, but the couple was optimistic.

Alexei wanted to stay by Loren's side 24 hours a day, but Loren wanted Alexei to return home to their children because they probably missed "Daddy" and wanted to be with him.

"I think you need me more than the kids need me," Alexei argued.

"Loren is a control freak, and I knew during recovery, she'd have a hard time with people taking care of her or making decisions for her. I think Loren is also feeling guilty for putting herself first and basically taking herself out of commission for six straight weeks."

Alexei admitted he was "a little worried" that Loren was going to try to bounce back and do too much too quickly, adding, "At this point, I can't afford any setbacks because I can't take care of Loren and the kids myself forever."

When Alexei returned home, he had a lot of cooking, cleaning and laundry to do while three young kids were running around. Alexei was a bit overwhelmed and acknowledged how tasks were piling up.

Alexei, for example, had never done laundry using the couple's new washer and dryer.

Alexei FaceTimed Loren and said the kids were going crazy, but Loren needed more time to rest and recover. Alexei had a feeling that things were going to spiral out of control, especially since he'd have five more weeks of this plus work.

NICOLE and MAHMOUD

Mahmoud had found a mosque nearby and even made some friends in California, which had given Nicole hope about their future together in the United States.

However, Nicole said that Mahmoud started accusing her of cheating on him and so their relationship was "hanging on by a thread."

Nicole lamented to the cameras, "I don't know how much more I can take, really."

Mahmoud then told his side of the story. He explained that Nicole had come home at 2AM drunk one night and she claimed she was at work. But when Mahmoud asked to look through her phone, Nicole allegedly "freaked out," which made Mahmoud suspicious.

Nicole alleged that she only had a couple of drinks that night and wasn't even tipsy. Nicole insisted that she was not cheating on her husband, nor would she have the time to have an affair.

"I don't feel like I trust her anymore," Mahmoud told the 90 Day Fiance cameras.

And then Nicole recalled of their fight, "He said, 'I don't have any feelings left for you, Nicole. I've never heard him talk like that before. When he says, 'I want a divorce,' I'm immune to it... It feels real to say that you don't have any more real feelings."

Nicole complained about how Mahmoud had such a big heart but he also had another side of him that she didn't like and couldn't handle. Nicole pointed out how she was not going to stay in a "loveless marriage."

Later on, Nicole explained to Mahmoud that she was at work and went out for a drink with her friend Olga, who had been fighting with her partner, that night when she came home late. Mahmoud accused Nicole of lying to him at the time.

Nicole said she didn't want Mahmoud to go through her phone but that didn't mean she was hiding anything from him.

"For real, we will divorce, Nicole," Mahmoud told his wife, adding how their marriage wasn't improving or going anywhere. "I don't have any feelings because I don't feel love from you anymore."

Nicole told Mahmoud that he couldn't stay at her apartment while he planned his trip back to Egypt, and she ran into a different room and cried.

Mahmoud then gathered his belongings and left Nicole's home.

"I'm just feeling kind of devastated. It's like a punch in the gut. We've been through a lot of stuff together, four years of it, and the one thing we always did have was feelings for each other... but then it flipped," Nicole lamented to the cameras.

"So what's the point of anything if he doesn't have feelings for me? I am heartbroken, but this is it."

Mahmoud explained how divorce was the couple's only option because things were only getting worse between them, and he confirmed their relationship was "over." Mahmoud wasn't sure if or when he was going to return to Egypt, but he intended on asking his buddy at the mosque for help and a place to stay.

Nicole acknowledged that Mahmoud was the best -- and worst -- thing to ever happen to her, and that it was going to be difficult to get over him. However, Nicole looked forward to feeling free again.

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela and Michael were shown enjoying drinks together at a bar in Nigeria, and Angela revealed how they were about to receive Michael's visa, which would finally allow him to move to the United States and be with her after dating long-distance for a whopping seven years.

The pair got married in Nigeria on January 27, 2020, but they had a tumultuous relationship over the years -- including Angela suspecting Michael had cheated on her.

Michael apologized for making a mistake, and so Angela decided to take him back after attending marriage counseling together.

"In the last seven years, Michael has applied for two visas -- one was a student visa and the other was a fiance [K-1] visa," Angela explained in a confessional.

"Both of them were denied. And then three years ago, Michael and I applied for a spousal visa, and there's a huge backlog in Nigeria, so Michael's application was transferred from a U.S. Embassy to another country."

Michael's spousal visa interview was scheduled for the next day at the U.S. Embassy, and he seemed very excited. Michael told Angela that they had come a very long way and were meant to be together.

In order to prepare for the interview, Angela asked Michael a bunch of personal questions about their relationship and about herself. Michael apparently didn't know that Angela was Baptist, which raised some red flags for her.

Angela was terrified that Michael was going to mess up the interview, and she apparently put a lot of pressure on him to pass the test. She feared that Michael wasn't taking the process seriously.

Angela realized that if Michael got denied the visa, they'd be out of options for how to proceed. Angela admitted to Michael that they'd have to part ways if he failed the interview because she couldn't go through more years being away from him.

"This is our last chance," Angela noted. "The outcome also affects my grandchildren back in the States... We're going to be a real family... and we'll take it one day at a time!"

The next morning, Angela discovered some screenshots Michael was planning on taking to his visa interview. Angela could then be heard screaming at Michael that he had "done something stupid" and "made a mistake."

Angela worried those screenshots would get them in trouble and prove they weren't getting along. They were essentially incriminating screenshots, which included messages from Angela calling him a liar and talking about his cheating.

Angela called Michael "an idiot," and she was furious. Angela didn't want the interviewer to see the couple had been fighting about such serious issues, and she claimed it would result in a denial.

Michael explained how he needed to include evidence of his communication with Angela and real couples have real fights. Michael thought the embassy wanted to see how they're a real married couple.

Michael noted how little things triggered Angela at this time because she was nervous, but he attempted to focus on the interview and on what he needed to accomplish.

Suddenly, Angela regretted not joining Michael for his interview and being there for him. She admitted she was wrong and had been "self-centered" that morning.

JASMINE and GINO

Jasmine had told Gino that she wasn't ready to make a baby at the moment.

Gino was disappointed that Jasmine was making major life decisions without involving him, and Jasmine agreed that he was right.

"How could she do this to me?" Gino lamented to the cameras, before telling his wife, "It's a dream of mine to have at least one child of my own."

Jasmine explained how she didn't feel right that her kids were in Panama without her and she was experiencing some depression and hair loss. Jasmine said she'd feel guilty to welcome a new child into the world when her pre-existing children were in a different country.

Jasmine told Gino that once she was reunited with her family, she'd probably feel ready to conceive and have another baby.

Gino wished Jasmine had told him this earlier, but he acknowledged that her explanation was "reasonable."

Jasmine apologized to Gino for changing her mind about getting pregnant, and Gino accepted her apology. Gino, however, hoped that Jasmine would change her mind in the future, once she felt less stressed and down.

Jasmine set out to redefine herself and grow her self-esteem, and so she decided to enter a beauty pageant. Gino promised Jasmine that he's support her through the whole thing, and he hoped a new experience would make Jasmine happy and give her a newfound sense of confidence.

ROB and SOPHIE

Rob and Sophie were shown shopping for lingerie. Since Rob was being kind and sweet to her, Sophie decided that she'd be willing to dress up in a costume for her husband. Role playing in the bedroom apparently turned Rob on.

But Sophie demanded that Rob dress up for her as well.

Rob and Sophie enjoyed a few laughs in the sex-toy store, and Rob gushed about how their sex life was already good but he wanted to spice things up a little bit.

Sophie tried on a red crop top with a white skirt, posing in a school girl's uniform. But Rob made a face and complained about how Sophie would usually wear things like that in the street.

Since Sophie was already struggling with insecurities, she yelled at Rob and called him a "d-ckhead." Sophie at least wanted a compliment or some reassurance, but instead, Rob looked like he was disgusted with her.

"F-ck you Rob," Sophie vented from inside the dressing room.

Sophie told the cameras that Rob never seemed to say the right things to her, but Rob asked her to stop being so sensitive. Rob promised to Sophie that she looked good in the outfit but he had been anticipating something different.

Sophie explained to Rob in the car that she wasn't sure he found her attractive, but he promised that wasn't the case.

Rob believed that Sophie was always looking for a reason to be pissed off at him and so it seemed like she didn't even like him. Rob asked Sophie if there was someone else in her life, but she yelled about how that wasn't the case.

"You find reasons to get upset, and then you shut me out so we can't talk about it. That's it. That's all you want to do! I feel Sophie is probably talking to someone else because of how unhappy she seems to be with me," Rob reasoned.

"Is there somebody that is just so amazing and so great that I can do nothing but fall short?"

Sophie insisted to Rob that she wanted to be with him but she just needed him to be nice to her. The pair argued the whole way home, and Rob told his wife that she needed to care more and he couldn't be solely responsible for making their relationship work.

After a moment of self-reflection, Rob told Sophie that if she wasn't interested in working things out with him than she should be with someone else. Sophie thought it was crazy she had to reaffirm Rob when he was the one who had messed up.

Sophie yelled about how she just wanted to feel loved and receive some praise every now and then. She wanted to feel validated and wanted.

Sophie, believing that Rob didn't care if she met someone else, stormed out of the house crying, and Rob lamented about how he wasn't going to chase after he and was tired of her playing games.

KOBE and EMILY

Kobe and Emily's families were at odds over the African tradition of a "bride price," which would enable Kobe and Emily to have a traditional wedding in Cameroon. Emily's mom didn't like the idea of accepting money or goods in exchange for her daughter's hand in marriage.

Since Kobe had moved to America and sacrificed a lot for Emily, he was hoping that she and her parents would come around to his family's customs.

Emily agreed to do a knock-door ceremony for Kobe, and she also cooked local dishes in attempt to impress his parents.

"I don't want there to be any tension. I don't want to disrespect anybody," Emily told her parents.

"My mom doesn't think it's right, and I'm just worried that Kobe's family will be offended by how my mom presents her concerns. There could be a lot of stressors today."

Kobe and his family approached Emily's parents and began the formal knock-door ceremony, and Emily's mom admitted she didn't want to feel like she was "selling" her daughter to them.

Kobe's elder explained how Emily was going to become Kobe's "property" and a member of their family, but Emily's mom didn't like the idea of Emily having to leave her own family. Tension heightened when Kobe's elder explained how Emily would be buried with their late family in Cameroon.

"The word 'property' is a very difficult word for us," Emily's father admitted.

Emily's parents didn't like Emily being equated to a "thing" or a "possession." Emily's mom told the cameras how Emily was capable of making her own decisions but she was going to speak her mind about her daughter being "bought" for a price.

LIZ and ED

Liz and her daughter Ryleigh were shown packing their suitcases, and Liz had to tell Ryleigh that they would not be returning to that house in Arkansas. Liz had to break the news that the wedding was off and Ed would no longer be a part of their lives.

Ryleigh was clearly upset and disappointed, and Liz admitted it was painful to be around Ed because he never wanted to talk to her or hash things out.

Liz and Ryleigh were headed to San Diego, but Liz wasn't sure if it was going to be a permanent or temporary move. Liz could only move forward with her real estate license in Arkansas, so she wasn't sure where they were going to live or where she was going to work.

"I gave up everything for him. It's not easy," Liz complained to the cameras. "I'm here alone. I have no on to turn to. I just want to get out of here."

Before Liz and Ryleigh left, Ed apologized to Ryleigh, and she accepted it. Ed promised Ryleigh that he'd always love her and she'd always be No. 1 at card games.

"I love you," Ryleigh said.

"I love you, too," Ed replied.

Ed said he didn't want his breakup with Liz to negatively affect Ryleigh in any way.

"I don't like Ed right now. I feel absolutely humiliated, played, and used. To have me move here and then break up with me again, it's a huge slap in the face," Liz cried in a confessional.

"Everybody gets to say, again, to my face, 'I told you so,' and it's not a good feeling. I don't want to lose him, but I see absolutely no fight in him. I'm the one hurt and I'm the one crying."

Liz put on a brave face for her daughter, but she was clearly shocked and devastated. Ed didn't even cry when Liz left and said goodbye to his dogs.

Ed insisted he was "disappointed" because he and Liz had invested a lot of time into their relationship, but he ultimately felt like they "dodged a bullet" by calling it quits before the wedding.
