Jennifer Lopez is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to perform dozens of Las Vegas concerts over the next two years.

Lopez will reportedly put on three shows per week for 24 weeks over the course of a year-and-a-half, guaranteeing the music star a total of $26,383,326.
Former The X Factor judge Britney Spears had signed a similar two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in September 2013. If Lopez seals the deal, she will reportedly be making more than Spears, who racks in $310,000 per show.
However, Spears' contract states she will be performing in 96 shows, so she will end up with a little over three million dollars more in her pocket than Lopez.
Lopez is set to return as a judge for American Idol's upcoming fourteenth season alongside Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. Lopez served on the judging panel for three previous Idol editions.
