Sportscaster Sid Rosenberg has been fired from WFAN's "Imus in the Morning" radio show for joking about Kylie Minogue's breast cancer.

Rosenberg made the remarks last Wednesday and had not appeared on the popular show since, but a spokesman for the station's owner, Infinity Broadcasting, told the New York Post he would not return and offered no further details.
Syndicated radio listeners and viewers on the MSNBC TV simulcast were shocked when Rosenberg commented in coarse terms how the Australian pop star "won't look so pretty when she's bald" with one breast, referring to her upcoming cancer treatment.
The newspaper reported Rosenberg has agreed to donate one week's salary to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Dallas.
