The show kicked off with judges Lopez, Grammy Award-winning singer Ne-Yo, and six-time Dancing with the Stars champion Derek Hough sending six dance acts from "The Qualifiers" round to "The Duels" during last night's broadcast.

The judges decided to advance D'Angelo & Amanda, a ballroom duo and former Live to Dance winners and America's Got Talent finalists from Miami, FL; Diana Pombo, a contemporary dancer from Miami, FL; Keone & Mari, an urban dance duo from San Diego, CA; Les Twins, a hip-hop duo from Paris, France; Kinjaz, an urban dance act from Los Angeles, CA; and Super Cr3w, a breakdance act from Las Vegas, NV.

Acts are divided into three divisions: Junior (any size act ages 17 and under), Upper (groups from 1-4 people ages 18 and older) and Team (groups of 5 or more dancers ages 18 and older).

D'Angelo & Amanda are in the Junior division, as well as Diana Pombo. Keone & Mari are in the Upper division, as well as Les Twins. Kinjaz and Super Cr3w are in the Team division.

Acts range from solo artists to duos and crews who perform hip-hop, krumping, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, clogging, stomping and more.

The competition will consist of five rounds -- The Qualifiers, The Duels, The Cut, The Divisional Final and The World Final. The World Final will feature the three division winners going head to head for the $1 million grand prize.

After a dance act takes the stage, Ne-Yo, Jennifer and Derek each determine a score from 1-20 points in each of the following five categories: Performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation.

In The Qualifiers round, the highest score a dance act can receive is 100 points from the judging panel; however, a total score of 80 points or higher is required for a dance act to move on to the next round.

Les Twins received a total average score of 95.7 points from the judges. Ne-Yo scored the male twins 95 points, while both Jennifer and Derek gave them 96 points. The guys blew the judges away, as Jennifer said there has never been a dance act like them and there probably never will be again.

Kinjaz earned a total average score of 91 points after receiving 89 points from Ne-Yo, and 92 points from both Jennifer and Derek.

Diana Pombo received a total score of 89.7 points. Ne-Yo scored her 88 points, Jennifer gave her 92 points, and Derek thought she deserved 89 points.

D'Angelo & Amanda walked away with a total score of 88.3 points after earning 90 points from Ne-Yo, 88 points from Jennifer, and 87 points from Derek.
