The Voice eliminated two Top 12 artists during Tuesday night's broadcast of the NBC reality singing competition's third season.

Michaela Paige, a 16-year-old singer from Boca Raton, FL, and Adriana Louise, a 22-year-old singer from Brooklyn, NY, were ousted from the competition during last night's live one-hour results show after The Voice host Carson Daly revealed they had received the least number of home viewer votes following Monday night's live performance show.

The two artists to receive the fewest votes each week will be forced to go home no matter which coach's team they are on. Louise was one of the team members representing Christina Aguilera this season.

"I just want to tell you thank you for being everything that I could've wished for and more. You're the best coach I ever could've asked for. You believed in me more than I believed in myself. So thank you so much. This is just the beginning, and I know that," Louise told Aguilera following her ouster.

"It is, it is. You come on these shows and at this point, you're going to go beyond this show. This is only a moment in time that will pass, and everyone's going to see how amazingly talented this girl is yet to come. She still has yet to show the world how amazing she truly is -- that I know you are," Aguilera said.

Paige was a member of Blake Shelton's three-person team.

"Honestly, the moment [Blake] turned his chair around for me, I know that I won, and I know that if I've inspired anybody out there, that's all that I came here to do. Follow your dreams and go after what you want, please," Paige told Daly.

"I love this little girl so much and it's just the -- this is her first stab at this thing, and she's going to be a star. You're going to see her many times. Her big mohawk is going to be walking across the stage at the Grammys and I can't wait. I can't wait. I'm so glad that I had this one small chapter in your book," Shelton explained.

The remaining members of Aguilera's team are Sylvia Yacoub, a 19-year-old singer from Muskegon, MI, and Dez Duran, a 25-year-old singer from Chicago Heights, IL. "Team Blake" is left with Terry McDermott, a 35-year-old singer from Aberdeen, Scotland, and Cassadee Pope, a 22-year-old singer from Los Angeles, CA, going forward.

Fellow The Voice coaches Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green still have their entire third-season teams intact.
