The Bachelor alum Susie Evans has posted about "shade" after her ex-boyfriend Clayton Echard's social-media reunion with Rachel Recchia and Michelle Young.

"Walking on the side of the street with sun not shade >," Susie captioned the image, tagging herself in her new city of Los Angeles, CA.
Many Instagram users speculated the Virginia Beach native was trying to take the high road and not throw "shade" at Clayton after his hangout session with Michelle and Rachel, both of whom had dated Clayton in the past on The Bachelorette's eighteenth season and The Bachelor's 26th season, respectively.
Other fans wondered if Susie's "shade" comment was in fact a passive aggressive dig at her ex-boyfriend that was designed to send the message she's not happy about his recent behavior.
Last week, Clayton, Rachel and Michelle posted funny videos on TikTok while they were spending time with The Bachelorette alum Blake Horstmann and his girlfriend Giannina Gibelli, who appeared on Season 2 of Love Is Blind.
In one video, Michelle -- who starred on The Bachelorette 18 in 2021 -- lip syncs, "Are you going to tell me what's going on?"
"I would," Rachel responds, "but I think explaining it might give us both an aneurysm."
As Rachel mouths her line while sitting on a couch, the camera pans to the other side of the couch and shows Clayton sitting beside her.
Clayton, a former medical sales representative and football player, proceeds to flash a smile and shrug his shoulders.

Clayton also posted a video of the group on Instagram Stories, and Giannina claimed on social media that the five former reality TV stars have recovered -- or are at least in the process of recovering -- from their "reality TV trauma."

Clayton found fame when he competed for Michelle's heart on The Bachelorette's eighteenth season in 2021. Michelle, however, dumped Clayton and eventually selected Nayte Olukoya as her final pick. (Michelle and Nayte announced their breakup in June 2022).
Clayton went on to star on The Bachelor's 26th season, which aired in early 2022.
Clayton had slept with both Rachel and Gabby Windey in the Fantasy Suites and told both women that he was in love with them.
Once Clayton opened up to Susie about his actions and confusion during their own Fantasy Suite date, his third -- and final -- date of the week, she chose to quit the show. Clayton claimed he was "the most in love" with Susie, but his words weren't enough for her at that point.
Gabby and Rachel, on the other hand, chose to see the good in Clayton and continue on his journey to find The One. But after the two women met Clayton's family, Clayton realized Susie was a one-of-a-kind girl, his dream girl.
Clayton therefore dumped Rachel and Gabby simultaneously in order to chase Susie down and pursue her.
Susie came back on The Bachelor, but only to reject Clayton at the Final Rose Ceremony in Iceland. Susie determined that Clayton was not her "person" and they weren't meant to be.
However, Susie and Clayton reconciled after the show wrapped filming. By the time his After the Final Rose special aired in March, the couple was together and in love.

The couple tried to make it work, but they announced their split in September 2022. Susie and Clayton have both said in the media how they're not compatible and dealing with backlash from Bachelor Nation didn't help their relationship.
After mending her broken heart, Rachel went on to star on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season alongside Gabby.
Rachel got engaged to Tino Franco at the Final Rose Ceremony of her season, but he cheated on her with another woman shortly after the finale filmed. Once the pair appeared on After the Final Rose in late September, Rachel revealed she had dumped Tino the month prior and was single again.
During an interview with The Bachelor alum Nick Viall on his "The Viall Files" podcast last year, Tino recalled why exactly his relationship with Rachel had fallen apart and why he ultimately cheated on the flight instructor.
Meanwhile, Blake, who finished as the runner-up on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise, has been dating Giannina since late 2021. They went Instagram official in April 2022, and the couple decided to move in together in Denver, CO, in late November.
Giannina appeared on Love Is Blind in 2020. She got engaged to fellow Love Is Blind contestant Damian Powers, but during the season finale, Damian reportedly admitted at the altar he couldn't go through with marrying her so soon.
The pair chose to stay together and continue dating, but then Giannina announced in August 2021 she and Damian had split.
