"Mirrorball never goes out of style, and we are ready to win it," Jan said in a pre-recorded video for Good Morning America, playing on the lyrics from Taylor's hit song "Style."
Jan shared on GMA, "I traveled all around the world with Eras Tour, and now I'm coming to the ballroom stage for Dancing with the Stars."
Dancing with the Stars fans will be able to see if Jan can easily transition from pop moves to ballroom steps when the show premieres its 34th season on Tuesday, September 16 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
The dancer and choreographer is no stranger to performing for cameras. He appeared in Taylor's concert film The Eras Tour Movie as well as Mariah Carey Christmas: The Magic Continues.
In addition, Jan danced alongside Bruno Mars and also performed onstage with Paul Abdul at the Billboard Music Awards and her Las Vegas residency.
Dancing with the Stars' official Instagram account had teased Jan's participation on Wednesday, August 27 by posting an image of purple sparkles, seemingly hinting at his connection to Taylor. A purple heart was also used as the caption.
And on August 12, Jan had posted a video performing an emotional contemporary routine with Dancing with the Stars pro Jenna Johnson to Kelly Clarkson's cover of "Happier Than Ever" by Billie Eilish.
People reported earlier this week that actor Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria Baldwin has also signed on for Dancing with the Stars' new season.
Jan and Hilaria would be joining the following previously-confirmed Dancing with the Stars contestants: wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, social media influencer Alix Earle, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt.
The complete cast of Dancing with the Stars -- including the lineup of pro dancers -- will be revealed on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 3.
