"The driving forces behind these new shows are the tremendous personalities of these very distinctive characters," said Spike TV programming executive Sharon Levy.

"We believe their authenticity and honesty will resonate with our young male audience."

Billed by the network as a combination of Jackass and Little People, Big World, Half Pint Brawlers will documents a group of "hardcore little person wrestlers" as they barnstorm the country with league owner Puppet "The Psycho Dwarf."

The six-episode series is currently filming at locations around the country and will focus on both the action inside the ring and out.

Half Pint Brawlers is being produced by The Idea Factory and Lumberjack Crew.

Scrappers will follow a crew of friends as they search the streets of Brooklyn for scraps including twisted metal, paper, and rubber as they recycle items from old cars and building materials. Run by Frankie Noots, the scrappers in the series compete against each other to find the best treasures among the trash.

The 10-episode series is slated to begin filming in early March and is being produced by Hoosick Falls Productions.
