Dancing with the Stars pro Sharna Burgess has revealed that she and fiance Brian Austin Green are hoping to get pregnant by the end of next year.

"I do totally want to go through this again," Sharna, 39, said of pregnancy during the Monday, May 5 episode of the "Money Rehab" podcast.

Sharna -- who already shares son Zane, 2, with Brian, 51 -- continued, "This year is crazy, but I'm going to put out there -- and we've talked about it -- that hopefully, maybe the end of next year, we're looking at getting pregnant. Because I will also be 40."

The former Dancing with the Stars pro noted that she doesn't want to wait too long before she and Brian begin trying for their second child together.

"Even though my eggs are fine and whatever medicine's wonderful, I still want to be as young as I possibly can be," Sharna explained.

"So I'm hoping maybe some time in the next year we'll be looking at getting pregnant."

Sharna confirmed that she plans to undergo in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to hopefully get pregnant with a baby girl.

"We need more estrogen in this house, so that's honestly what I'm hoping for this next time around," Sharna shared.

"I think we'll do gender selection and do IVF because [Brian is] five for five on boys. Who's going to take a chance on that?... He just makes boys! He's meant to create the starting line of a football team! It's crazy!"

In addition to Zane, Brian has four other children from previous relationships.

Brian shares son Kassius, 23, with ex-fiancee Vanessa Marcil. Brian and Vanessa split in 2003 after four years together.

Brian went on to marry actress Megan Fox, and their relationship lasted for a decade from 2010 to 2020. During their marriage, Brian and Megan welcomed three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8.

Brian then began dating Sharna in late 2020. Two years later, Zane was born in June 2022.

Brian later proposed marriage to Sharna in July 2023 after three years of dating, but they didn't publicly announce the news until September 2023.

Sharna revealed during a September 2023 episode of her "Oldish" podcast that Brian had popped the question in front of Zane and his kids on his 50th birthday following a surprise party.

"I never saw it coming!" Sharna gushed, recalling how Brian had asked her to marry "us."

The pro dancer continued, "Of course I said, 'Yes,' and I put that ring on my finger and hugged all of them -- and it was the most perfect, beautiful moment because it was us, our unit. It was our tribe, and I love that's how he wanted to do it."

Sharna said Brian could've made the proposal "flashy" but that's "not his style" and it "wouldn't have felt right" for him to do it that way. She called his sweet gesture a "dream" come true.

Brian, for his part, said this was the start to the second half of his life and so his 50th birthday felt like "an amazing time" to get engaged again.

"Sharna to be able to share a last name with all of us, [that's] the end goal."

And Sharna said it "means the world" that she'll eventually share a last name with Brian and his kids.

Sharna and Brian met at a coffee shop and began dating in Spring 2020, shortly after Brian announced his split from Megan.

Brian and Sharna, however, attempted to keep their relationship a secret for a little while, and they didn't go Instagram official until January 2021.

Sharna told Us Weekly in October 2021 -- while celebrating the couple's one-year dating anniversary -- that if Brian didn't want to get married again, it would be "a dealbreaker" for her.

"I was really grateful that he was open to that," she said at the time. "He even brought it up. He said with the right person then yes. And I do want marriage and babies, what a fairy tale. So I needed to know."

Sharna and Brian previously competed on Dancing with the Stars' 30th season together. They were the third couple eliminated from the season.

Dancing with the Stars 30 marked Sharna's fourteenth season on the show as a pro partner. She won the mirrorball trophy one time with celebrity partner Bobby Bones back on Season 27 in 2018.

Sharna chose not to participate in Dancing with the Stars' 31st season in Fall 2022 because she had just welcomed her first child, Zane, on June 28 of that year.

Sharma, however, was shocked and upset not to be asked back for Dancing with the Stars' 32nd season, which aired in Fall 2023. She also did not compete on the show's 33rd season in 2024.
