Each week, Survivor and The Amazing Race will each air as a 90-minute episode, culminating in a three-hour night of adventure and challenges and fan-favorite reality television.

Survivor will air from 8-9:30PM ET/PT and be immediately followed by The Amazing Race from 9:30-11PM ET/PT.

CBS made the announcement when unveiling the network's 2025-2026 primetime programming lineup, but specific premiere dates for both series have yet to be disclosed.

CBS had adopted the same supersized format for Survivor's 48th season and The Amazing Race's 37th season, which are currently airing on Wednesday nights on CBS.

However, The Amazing Race has been left off CBS' schedule in Spring 2026 when Survivor returns with its milestone 50th season.

Survivor's 49th season will once again be hosted by Jeff Probst, while Phil Keoghan will also resume his role on The Amazing Race.

Survivor's 48th season still has six castaways in the running for the $1 million prize.

Hoping to outwit, outplay and outlast, the remaining castaways on Season 48 are Eva Erickson, Joe Hunter, Kamilla Karthigesu, Kyle Fraser, Mitch Guerra, and Shauhin Davari.

The Amazing Race's 37th season currently has four teams left in the race around the world.

The four remaining teams racing for $1 million are "Siblings" Han Nguyen and Holden Nguyen, "Married nurse anesthetists" Alyssa Borden and Josiah Borden, "Married parents" Jonathan Towns and Ana Towns, and "Best friends and gamers" Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge.
