Netflix is teasing Harlan Coben's upcoming thriller series Run Away with a first-look photo.
Nesbitt portrays Simon, a father whose seemingly perfect life is upended when his daughter Paige (Ellie de Lange) takes off, and is "strung out on drugs in a city park" when he finds her.
"It turns out she's not alone, and an argument escalates indddto shocking violence," an official synopsis says. "In the aftermath, Simon loses his daughter all over again, and his search to find her will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever."
Run Away is an adaptation of Coben's 2019 novel, and Coben said the story is "about family, about what we will do to keep our family intact, what secrets e keep within our family and what secrets we keep as a family."
"Every time you walk past the house, there's a whole universe that goes on behind that door and none of us have a clue what it is," he told Netflix's Tudum.Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, Alfred Enoch, Lucian Msamati, Jon Pointing, Adrian Greensmith, Ellie Henry, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Annette Badland, Ingrid Oliver, Maeve Courtier, Finty Williams, Joe McGann and Amy Gledhill also star.
