According to updated in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC's "For Love Or Money" concluded its initial run with timeslot-dominating numbers and the highest adult 18-49 rating for any telecast on any network since the May sweeps, With its lofty finale numbers, “For Love Or Money” is now the #2 show overall for the summer to date in 18-49 and it remains the summer’s #1 reality series.

Last night’s 9-11 PM ET finale of "For Love Or Money" (6.0 rating, 16 share among adults 18-49, 12.9 million viewers overall) scored NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the timeslot since March 10 and the network’s highest overall viewer total there since May 19. "For Love Or Money" won last night’s time period in virtually all key categories, and beat the major network competition combined among women 18-34. The margin over second-place CBS was 76 percent in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall.

During its final hour from 10-11 PM ET, "For Love Or Money" achieved NBC’s highest 18-49 rating (7.0) for an entertainment program in that slot since May 3, 1999 ("Noah’s Ark, Part 2") and highest for any programming in the slot since Feb. 17, 2003 (the Michael Jackson edition of "Dateline NBC"). That final hour of "For Love Or Money" beat the time-period competition combined in all key adult and adult-female categories and doubled CBS’ "CSI: Miami" rebroadcast in 18-49. NBC Research estimates 22 million viewers watched some or all of last night’s “For Love Or Money” finale.

The last three telecasts of "For Love Or Money," June 23, June 30 and July 7, are the three highest-rated reality programs on any network in the 27 nights since "Last Comic Standing" premiered on June 10.

The six episodes of “For Love Or Money” have averaged a 4.6 rating in 18-49, ranking it #2 overall for the summer, close behind the 4.8 of CBS’ “CSI,” the #1 series of the summer to date. That 4.6 also puts “For Love Or Money” a full rating point ahead of this summer’s top non-NBC reality series, Fox’s “American Junior” (3.6 on Tuesdays). In overall total viewers, “For Love Or Money” has averaged 9.9 million persons, which also ranks it #1 among this summer’s first-run reality programs.


The sequel series “For Love Or Money 2” premieres next Monday, July 14, at 9 p.m. ET.
