The former Clean House star and tenth-season contestant on Dancing with the Stars has announced her late May wedding to fiance Jay Tucker will be the subject of a two-hour special which will air on TLC, People reported Monday.

In addition the couple's wedding ceremony, the special will also chronicle all the planning and purchases leading up to the big day -- steps that Nash claims she needs all the the help she can get with.

"I am telling you, I was so excited to find the man, I didn't even think about planning," Nash told People

"I am a woman who does not have the bride gene. No bridezilla here! I haven't been planning a wedding since I was three," Nash added. "I have to go to the experts to say, 'What am I supposed to do here?' And me and my mother watch Say Yes to the Dress religiously. So I'm really looking forward to it."

The actress and reality TV personality -- whose prior 1994 marriage to Don Nash ended in 2007 -- said she'd like to air her wedding as a way to thank her fans and set an example for them.

"I said to Jay, 'I would like to share this experience with them,'" Nash explained. "I want them to know at the end of the day [that] love is possible a second, sometimes even a third, time around. You can get another chance."

Nash said she hopes this wedding -- which will feature The View co-host Sherri Shepherd and The Game actress Wendy Raquel Robinson as bridemaids and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph as the matron of honor -- will go a little more smoothly than her last.

"It was such a fiasco. I hadn't been to a wedding before, so when I went to get my dress, I had nothing to compare it to. I didn't know I bought a dress that's a quinceacera gown," Nash said.

"My [reception] decorations were metal folding chairs and signs that were painted in marker and done in calligraphy. A styrofoam heart in the middle of the table? It was just a mess. So I am happy to get a do-over and ask for help."

Nash announced her engagement to Tucker in September.
