CBS President Les Moonves announced today that Star Search, the revamped talent competition that performed well for network earlier this year, will return to the CBS schedule on January 17, 2004.

In a move that will be the network's only significant change to its extremely successful Fall 2003 programming lineup, Star Search will air in the Saturday 8PM ET/PT time slot, with the time slot's current occupant, 48 Hours, moving into the Wednesday 10PM ET/PT time slot left vacate by the cancellation of David E. Kelly's disappointing The Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire dramatic series.

Multi-talented actor/comedian Arsenio Hall is expected to return as series host. Star Search is produced by 2929 Productions. Andrew Golder is executive producer.
