With Mark Philippoussis and Amanda Salinas' reality television romance officially in the books, it's time for the Age of Love star and his selected suitor to enter into a real-life relationship.

"We're in the real world now," Philippoussis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal after Monday night's finale broadcast had aired in Las Vegas. "We just want to get to know each other without the cameras."

Philippoussis, a 31-year-old professional tennis player from Melbourne, Australia, chose Salinas, a 26-year-old financial planner's assistant from Nashville, TN, out of a group of seven 40-something "Cougars" and five other 20-something "Kittens."

Philippoussis watched NBC's Age of Love finale with friends and tourists in a lounge at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort, according to the Review-Journal, which added the crowd had "mixed reactions" when the show's ending revealed he picked Salinas over 48-year-old Jennifer Braff.  However once Salinas entered the lounge after the finale ended, the crowd reportedly cheered and snapped photos as she and Philippoussis embraced.

The couple told the Review-Journal they kept in-touch while Age of Love was airing via text messaging, but now plan to spend some one-on-one time together in Vegas this week, "just hanging out, watching a movie and having some popcorn."

As of now, Philippoussis and Salinas told the Review-Journal they have no marriage plans.
