MTV has announced Maui Fever, a new reality series that will expose the daily lives, loves and losses of seven Hawaiian locals living in paradise, will premiere Wednesday, January 17 at 10:30PM ET/PT.

According to MTV, the seven Kaanapali, Maui residents are a close knit group of friends who spend "their days sunning and their nights partying with no rules and no one to answer to."
"Maui Fever uncovers the real-life drama of a group of friends living and loving in an island paradise," said DiSanto. "While the guys think they have the upper hand in relationships with the locals and tourists, its the girls who seem to really be pulling the strings. The lush location, compelling characters and classic beach movie vibe come together to make Maui Fever a totally unique and compelling viewing experience."
Maui Fever was created by Morgan J. Freeman, who was also a director for Dawson's Creek.

Notorious for being the center of attention, Chaunte is sure to stir up the drama wherever she goes. She likes to keep her on-and-off boyfriend Anthony in the palm of her hand while she keeps her eyes open for other love interests. |
