Michelle Young is hoping to win Matt James' heart on The Bachelor's currently-airing 25th season.

Michelle is a 27-year-old from Edina, Minnesota.

Although Michelle arrived mid-season, Matt opted to take her on a one-on-one date because they hit it off right away and he really liked her.

Matt said he was taken with Michelle's presence because she managed to put him at ease and make him feel comfortable. He felt as though the couple had already known each other for a long time.

Matt said he believed Michelle embodies all the qualities he's looking for in a future wife, telling the cameras about the bachelorette, "I see all I need to see."

But because they shared a strong instant connection, Michelle struggled to watch Matt flirt and date other women afterwards. She cried about her feelings for Matt were incredibly strong and she worried about setting herself up to get hurt.

Matt, however, promised Michelle that she had not misjudged their connection and everything was still great between them.

Michelle, standing 5'9", was also reportedly named "Most Valuable Player" at the Minnesota Girls Basketball All-Star Tournament her senior year.

Michelle played basketball at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois for four years, from 2011 to 2015, according to Us Weekly.

Michelle admits she is a bit of an over-worker but decided to appear on The Bachelor because she's ready to find love and a man with whom to settle down and start a family.

Michelle says she has big dreams for the future and desires a man who will stick by her side and be supportive as they hopefully make the world a better place together.
