Married at First Sight's couples celebrated their first month wedding anniversaries during Tuesday night's Season 7 broadcast on Lifetime.
The three Dallas-based couples who tied the knot at first sight on Season 7 were Amber Martorana, a 36-year-old division order analyst, and Dave Flaherty, a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager; Bobby Dodd, a 27-year-old project manager, and Danielle Bergman, a 30-year-old account executive; and Mia Bally, a 29-year-old airline recruiter; and Tristan Thompson, a 29-year-old former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player who recently started a tutoring center business.
They were matched by the following Married at First Sight experts: Psychologist Dr. Jessica Griffin, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson.
The Married at First Sight episode began on Day 30 of marriage, with the couples preparing to celebrate their one-month wedding anniversaries, which marked the halfway point through the Married at First Sight experiment.
Amber felt she made "a great team" with Dave, and in order to prove she'd make a good wife and mother, she decided to make a nice dinner for her husband.
Dave could tell cooking was "a new and foreign" activity for Amber, but he thought her effort was really cute. It meant a lot to Dave that she was stepping out of her comfort zone and trying something new.
Dave noted the gesture said a lot about who Amber is as a person, and he thought the meal was really good.
Meanwhile, Bobby and Danielle went shooting to explore each other's hobbies. Danielle was nervous and didn't know how to hold the gun, but she did a great job and Bobby was impressed. Danielle said it felt good to have a husband guide her through new experiences.
As for Tristan and Mia, they weighed the pros and cons about moving to Houston, TX. Mia was hesitant to leave Dallas and her family wasn't happy, but Tristan's tutoring business was suffering.
The idea of moving caused Mia additionally stressed, and she wondered how that would work long-term. Tristan was frustrated because he believed most of Mia's concerns came from her family's opinion and fears.
"I'd rather be around my family than yours," Tristan told Mia. "My family is more laid back and your family is more intense."
Regardless, Tristan wanted what would be best for Mia and their relationship. The couple acknowledged whichever decision they made could result in resentment from one person, which could be very detrimental to their marriage.

On Day 31, Dave surprised Amber with an overnight trip to their wedding venue. She felt so positive about their romance because they felt comfortable around each other and could be themselves. Amber called their wedding "the best night" of her life.
Meanwhile, Tristan and Mia enjoyed a romantic gondola ride to celebrate their anniversary. Tristan had faith in his marriage and figured they could get through anything together.
Once Danielle returned home from work, there was a basket filled with goodies from the Married at First Sight experts on her doorstep.
The basket featured the pair's wedding album, framed vows and wedding video.
"Being in a marriage with Danielle is awesome in every way. I can't wait to have more wedding anniversaries with Danielle in the future," Bobby said in a confessional.
Bobby gifted Danielle a DNA kit because she had been asking for it as well as 23 cards revealing what he loved about her most. Bobby picked the number 23 because they got married on the 23rd.
"We are so perfect for each other," gushed Danielle, who bought Bobby baseball tickets for a game in Seattle when they'd be visiting her parents.
Danielle also made a beautiful list on a chalkboard of all the stadiums in major league baseball so Bobby can cross one off his bucket list every time he visits one or goes to a game.
As for Amber and Dave's day together, she admitted her feelings were growing very strong for her husband. Dave said reliving their wedding memories was romantic and she was "really crazy" about his wife.
Each couple then watched their wedding video, and Bobby and Danielle decided to have it played on the big screen at a drive-in movie theater.
Bobby said the past four weeks had been the best time of his life. To show Danielle his love and gratitude, he set up pillows, blankets and flowers in the back of his truck, and Danielle said it was an incredibly romantic date. She felt very lucky to have Bobby in her life.
It was clear all three married couples felt lucky to have found their spouses. Tristan, for example, decided to re-do the closet for Mia so all of her clothes and shoes could fit.
"One month feels like one year in this process, so it's nice to be able to take a breather and just appreciate Tristan for sticking through it and vice versa," Mia said in a confessional.
