Melissa posted about a dozen photos of Ryan and their family on social media, paying tribute to him and the memories they had created together.
"Ryan was so damn funny and witty. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved. He had a huge heart, always," Melissa wrote alongside the images.
"I can't explain what it's like to lose a sibling. Someone who's been there from the beginning and shares the same memories. No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely."
She concluded, "Life as I know it will never be the same."
On August 15, Melissa uploaded Ryan's obituary on Facebook, and she captioned it, "To everyone who has reached out to me about Ryan's passing, thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Melissa added, "It's so incredibly touching to see how many people loved him. His memory will live on for all eternity."
According to the obituary on Legacy.com, Ryan, a sales professional and New York native, died on August 10, but no details about his cause of death were revealed.
"Ryan was truly one of a kind. He had a great sense of humor and was a natural prankster who could always find a way to make people laugh," the obituary reads.
"His jokes, his laughter, and his mischievous personality were a big part of what made Ryan so special. Anyone who knew him likely has a story about something funny he said or did... His personality and gift for conversation made him someone people enjoyed being around, both personally and professionally."
Ryan apparently loved soccer, music, the New York Giants, his family, and his dog Jada, who was the late reality TV star's "number one."
