Illustrating that once you develop a distrustful reputation, the perception can come back to haunt you -- even when among those who benefited from your previous betrayal -- Lisa Keiffer, the 44-year-old real estate agent from New Orleans, LA, was voted out of her Yasur tribe by her distrustful Yasur tribemates during last night's Survivor: Vanuatu broadcast.

Survivor: Vanuatu's sixth episode began with Rory Freeman, the 35-year-old housing case manager from Des Moines, IA who was left as Yasur's sole remaining male member after the tribe's ouster of Travis Sampson, threatening to stop performing any camp chores unless the women promised to consider his tribal contributions and not blindly vote him off at their next tribal council.

Over at the male-dominated Lopevi tribe, the remaining members of the tribe's "Flab Five" alliance were enjoying both the beauty (Julie Berry, the 23-year-old youth mentor from Gorham, ME) and additional hardworking brawn (via Twila Tanner, the 41-year-old highway repair worker from Marshall, MO) that the previous episode's tribal swap had brought to their camp life.

When the tribes assembled for the Reward Challenge they discovered that they'd be getting down and dirty with some piglet herding. With Scout Cloud Lee, the 59-year-old rancher from Stillwater, OK, assigned to man the tribe's pig pen gate, Rory and Yasur's remaining four women faced off versus Lopevi's pig catchers, which, with the exception of Twila, was all male.

Yasur managed to hold their own in the beginning, but once Eliza Orlins, the 21-year-old pre-law student from Syracuse, NY, entered the challenge and was futilely unable to capture piglet after piglet, the male-dominated Lopevi tribe quickly began to pull away and easily won the competition. As their reward, the Lopevi tribe received the ingredients required to prepare a steak and eggs meal.

While enjoying their meal back at camp, the Lopevi tribe openly wondered why Yasur, struggling in challenges since the tribal swap, would keep the petite Eliza over more physical competitors. "Why would they keep someone like Eliza and not keep their muscle?" Twila, who hadn't been a fan of Eliza's when they were in the same tribe, openly stated. Over at Yasur, Rory sensed an opening forming in the women's alliance. "If they keep her (Eliza) on here, they're signing their own death warrant." Rory speculated. "Right now, they need somebody strong, and I'm their strongest recourse."

When the tribes assembled for the following day's Immunity Challenge, a water-based obstacle course, Yasur was once again competing neck-and-neck with Lopevi, only to again fall badly behind due to the struggles of one of their female members -- in this case Leann Slaby, the 35-year-old research assistant from Kansasville, WI. Lopevi easily won the challenge as a result of Leann's inability to stay underwater long enough to unhitch her tiki pole segments, and the Yasur tribe was once again facing Tribal Council.

During the pre-Tribal Council scheming, Ami Cusack, the 31-year-old barista/model from Lakewood, CO, made it quite clear that despite the challenge struggles of both Leann and Eliza and the presence of Rory, she was going to cast her vote for the "distrustful" Lisa, who had previously betrayed her "younger woman" alliance and teamed with Ami and her allies to oust Mia Galeotalanza.

Despite Scout's suggestion that they instead vote off Eliza (who had also previously betrayed the "younger girls" alliance in voting to oust Dolly Neely), Ami refused to change her position, and as a result Ami, Eliza, Leann, and Rory teamed together to vote out Lisa in a 4-2 vote (with Scout, knowing Lisa was leaving but still refusing to vote against her, casting what she knew to be a insignificant vote for Rory.)

This week's correct bootee prediction increases our Survivor: Vanuatu prediction record to 6-1. In Spoiler Island fantasy game action, Episode 6 scores have been posted and there is (once again) still a several way tie for first place. Congratulations to all, we'll see if Episode 7 further thins the leaderboard. And if you haven't signed up yet, there's still time -- sign-up now.

So what happens next week? How do the Yasur women react to Scout's refusal to go along with their decision? Is Rory a "real" Yasur member now?
