The 42-year-old model opened up about her post-divorce life in an interview for the magazine's November issue.

Klum and her second husband, singer Seal, split in 2012, leaving the model to assume both parenting roles for their four children.

"Obviously things have changed, but they haven't changed drastically," she shared.

"[Seal] was never your typical dad who left for work in the morning with his briefcase and would be home by dinnertime every night. He traveled a lot. The kids knew it was part of his job. I'm a mom and a dad at the same time."

"Women are capable of juggling a lot of balls -- we do things that guys just cannot do," she said of her many responsibilities. "A lot of them have a very hard time just trying to figure out what to do with [one] ball. And often they want us to hold that one, too!"

Klum and Seal started dating in 2004, and married in May 2005.

The singer adopted Klum's daughter Leni, now 11 years old, in 2009, and the pair also share 10-year-old son Henry, 8-year-old son Johan and 6-year-old daughter Lou.
