Emily Maynard is happily in love with a growing family, but the former The Bachelorette star still doesn't think she's one to dish out advice to new The Bachelor star Nick Viall.

"I always say I should not give anyone anybody any Bachelor and Bachelorette advice because it has kind of been a train wreck, to be quite honest. My time on the show was a bit of a mess," Maynard, 30, said during a Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America.

Maynard has been married to husband Tyler Johnson since June 2014 and the couple has three beautiful children. However, Maynard's road to finding true love was a tough one.

Maynard's first fiance, the late race car driver Ricky Hendrick with whom she welcomed now 11-year-old daughter Ricki, died in a 2004 plane crash.

Maynard eventually won Season 15 of The Bachelor and became engaged to Brad Womack, however, the pair split in 2011. Not long afterwards, she went through another highly-publicized breakup with ex-fiance Jef Holm, whom she selected at the end of her eighth-season The Bachelorette journey in 2012.

Maynard therefore advised Season 21's The Bachelor cast to "just have fun." She's been watching Viall's season unfold because she stands by the fact the series makes for "the best TV."

Nowadays, Maynard is raising Ricki as well as her two kids with Johnson -- Jennings, 17 months, and Gibson, 3 months.

"I got pregnant when Jennings was only six months old, and I was like, 'I don't have this thing figured out at all!...' It is crazy at our house all the time, but it's a lot of fun," Maynard revealed.

She added of Johnson, "He is like the best dad ever... Jennings is obsessed with him, and I'm sure Gibson will be, too."

The I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption and True Love author admitted on GMA it's difficult to reach America's high expectations of her. She apparently feels pressure to be perfect.

"It's something I struggle with every day -- I think anybody who has social media struggles with that," Maynard said.

As for whether Maynard and Johnson have any plans to extend their family, the former reality TV star disclosed, "Tyler wants a lot more. He comes from a really big family. But just for my own sanity, I would like to wait a little bit longer than I did this past time."
