Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska went from professional dance partners to newlyweds over the weekend.

The Dancing with the Stars' professionals tied the knot on Saturday during a ceremony in San Francisco, their representative confirmed to People on Sunday.  Mazo and Sliwinska became engaged last fall and didn't want to waste any time in exchanging vows.

"We planned on getting married last year, but with [Dancing with the Stars 4] and then the tour back to back, we had to postpone it," Sliwinska told People earlier this year.  At least the postponement served one good purpose, allowing the couple time to throw bachelor and bachelorette parties in Las Vegas this summer.

The 29-year-old Russian-born Mazo and the 28-year-old Polish-born Sliwinska were professional partners prior to appearing on Dancing with the Stars' first season in 2005.

Mazo took home Season 1's mirror ball trophy with Kelly Monaco, didn't participate in the show's second and third seasons, and was part of the first team eliminated when he paired with fourth-season participant Paulina Porizkova.  Sliwinska is the only professional dancer to appear in all five installments of Dancing with the Stars.  She was paired with Evander Holyfield in Season 1; George Hamilton in Season 2; Joseph Lawrence in Season 3; and John Ratzenberger in Season 4 after her original partner, The Sopranos actor Vincent Pastore, dropped out of the competition.

For the upcoming fifth season, Mazo will be paired with supermodel Josie Maran and Sliwinska will be coupled with soap star Cameron Mathison.  Dancing with the Stars 5 is scheduled to premiere with a 90-minute performance episode on Monday, September 24 at 8PM ET/PT.
