But Rose Ceremonies still continue, and couples likely compete and get voted off
Disney/Bahareh Ritter
Since no one else entered the show and Rose Ceremonies continued to take place, Carbone guessed that maybe couples were voted off in some way at each Rose Ceremony, starting with Rose Ceremony No. 5.
"Because what I do know is that what they've done in the past, where [former host Chris Harrison]/Jesse would come in and tell couples basically, 'Ok, decide if you want to stay together or breakup up' is gone now," Carbone wrote.
"I don't know if challenges helped determine which couples go home, if there is a money aspect to it, etc. I just know that it wasn't about couples getting engaged as much as in seasons past."
Carbone therefore speculated that maybe a couple could remain a couple and leave the show due to some sort of vote off.
Carbone was told there was "definitely some major drama" due to this twist or format change and he'll report on it later as additional information becomes available.
